How To Verify Your Website On Pinterest
Go to Pinterest and login to your profile. Then click on your profile name which is located at the top right corner and select Settings.
On your profile settings page, scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find the website field and enter your website URL and click on the Verify Website button.
On the next page you will be given two different options to verify your website. You can verify your blog or website by uploading a HTML file onto your hosting server and let Pinterest verify it. But i will only discuss on how to verify your website by placing HTML meta tag, because this the only method most bloggers or webmaster can follow especially if their blog is not self-hosted.
Now click on the Verify by meta tag link to continue.
In the next window, copy the HTML meta tag and go to your website template Edit HTML section and paste the HTML meta tag code after <head>
For blogger:
- Go to Template > Edit HTML > Proceed
- Find <head> and paste the HTML meta tag code after it.
- Save your template.
Once you are verified, you will receive a notification stating that We successfully verified your website!. Click on Go to your profile to see your website appearing next to your profile about section.
Now you can remove the HTML meta tag from your template if you wish and you are done.
